The Disc WORD Hub can be selected with one of three different super-stiff, super-light, flex-free 7075 Alloy interchangeable axle configurations: Quick-Release, Bolt-On, and Thru-Axle. Easily serviced and made in sunny Chico, California, these hubs will last you a lifetime.
This hub spins very smoothly due to extremely high tolerance machined bearing bores (.0002", that’s 8 times thinner than a human hair!), high quality user-adjustable sealed cartridge bearings, and a hub shell design that has been refined over years of production and real world abuse to be as light as possible while still withstanding the abuse that the biggest, most reckless riders can put it through.

We use one-piece solid axles to provide a stiff hub that will help your suspension perform better and drive every watt of power into the dirt. To thwart mud, water, and contaminants as you power through rough trails, Boost Centerlock hubs have heavy-duty bearing seals, and a threaded driveshell seal ring.
Our bearings have heat-treated, surgical grade steel races that are machined simultaneously to ensure perfectly matched inner and outer races. The Boost 6-Bolt front is specifically for “Boost” disc spacing forks with 110x15mm "Boost" axles. Using the larger diameter hubshell bearing the Boost 6-Bolt is designed to tackle rough terrain and aggressive riding such as downhill and enduro.
