This Ultralight and ultra-sleek stem cap integrates a 5mm, 10mm or 15mm headset spacer with your stem cap in finely machined piece. Why have extra steerer tube requiring spacers on top of your stem you ask? Well, many carbon steerers require that the steer tube extend above the stem. The Wolf Tooth Compression Plug provides an anchor point to set the headset preload on road, MTB, or gravel bikes with carbon forks—essentially securing everything on the steerer tube. A stem cap with a 5mm integrated spacer is included, which is important since many fork manufacturers require the steerer tube to extend above the top of the stem. It is available in eight color options to add some style to your bike.
Compatibility
- Forks with 1 1/8" steerer tubes.
- Designed for carbon steerer tubes but works with metal steerer tubes with ID from 23.5mm to 24.5mm.
