The Porteur Rack is a great option over the stand pannier rack or mini rack. With its wide platform it is better at carry odd sized and bulky loads like box full of kittens. You can strap a basket it and some bag makers are making bags specifically for this style of rack.

Stainless hardware, includes mounting tang and spacers so that you can clear the fork leg when you mount to the eyelets on the backside of your fork.
Works well with a set of P-clamps as well.
