The Open bar is an upright bar but not an uptight bar. It’s equally suited to cruising, commuting, and even some singletrack, though it should be noted that this is not by any means a DH bar. We left it a bit flexy to take some of the harsh out of your ride. The angle makes it comfy for your wrists. The width enables loads of control. The Sparrow is a touring/townie bar. The 490mm version is more agile for squeezing through traffic than other townie/MTB bars. The 520mm is still narrow, but with a grip area that fits levers and shifters. The 560mm size is better for climbing and single-speeders. Try all the sizes on a single-speed or fixie. Can be used flipped to be used as a riser bar or down for a less upright position.

750mm wide and offers 15mm of rise together with a 5° backsweep and 8° upsweep. Built for strength with enough flex built in for all day comfort. Strong enough for All Mountain/Freeride, light enough for racing.
Bars are made with three different fiber types with different tensile strength and tensile modulus, including High Strength carbon fibers. This helps to allocate stiffness and flex where needed.
Bars are molded with an EPS mandrel inside to avoid wrinkles inside the layup during molding. Most other bars are molded over inflated nylon bladders.
All carbon fiber material is produced by Toray and uses tailor made nano Epoxy Resin for very high impact resistance. Toray is the main supplier of carbon fiber to Boeing and Airbus.
1.5K woven impact ends help prevent damage to uni directional fibers from shortening the bar or impact with the ground.

Just like with a standard drop bar, you’ll have multiple hand positions at your disposal so you can stay comfortable and in control for the long haul down the Big Slab. And if it’s a more relaxed, upright riding position you’re after, 30mm of rise will get you there. So, if you’ve accidentally or intentionally cut your steer tube too short, here’s your chance at redemption. Also suitable for taller riders who’ve exhausted all other options for rise, it comes in three widths of 42, 45, and 48cm. Lightweight aluminum construction, CB radio not included.
