Built using 7050 Aluminum alloy for strength and long life. 65mm wide clamping area to fit our Direct Mount stem, giving you the most torsional stiffness of any bar/stem combination. 31.8 center section is absolutely straight over a width of 90mm. The long straight section in the middle reduces stress concentrations, especially when using wide Direct Mount stems

    Bar is butted and tapered in many steps for optimal fatigue life. Ends of the bar are thickened from 1.4 to 1.6mm to resist damage from impacts and contact with the ground.

    Bar is produced by advanced CNC bending to avoid the need for hand grinding. Almost all other bars are manually bent and bends are ground to appear smooth. CNC bending ensures very consistent wall thickness and close tolerances, especially in tapered sections. This keeps weight low and fatigue life high.

    Our aluminum drop bars bring the performance, and dependability you have come to expect from Thomson. The lineup is available in 3 profiles, and varying widths. Each made from 7000 series aluminum. Borrowing from the proven carbon profiles, the alloy drop bars are available with a mild flat, a round profile, or new to Thomson, the Flared Drop bar.

    Our road bar wing section is small enough not to restrict hand movements when riding on the top, and allows bar angle adjustment without “locking out” your wrists. Shaping on the bottom side of the wing allows housing to be taped out of the way. The Dirt Drop shares a similar top to the round road bar, measuring 31.8 as wide as possible. Each profile has exceeded the ISO 4210-2:2015 requirement.

    750mm wide and offers 15mm of rise together with a 5° backsweep and 8° upsweep. Built for strength with enough flex built in for all day comfort. Strong enough for All Mountain/Freeride, light enough for racing.

    Bars are made with three different fiber types with different tensile strength and tensile modulus, including High Strength carbon fibers. This helps to allocate stiffness and flex where needed.

    Bars are molded with an EPS mandrel inside to avoid wrinkles inside the layup during molding. Most other bars are molded over inflated nylon bladders.

    All carbon fiber material is produced by Toray and uses tailor made nano Epoxy Resin for very high impact resistance. Toray is the main supplier of carbon fiber to Boeing and Airbus.

    1.5K woven impact ends help prevent damage to uni directional fibers from shortening the bar or impact with the ground.

    The Wolf Tooth Resolve Dropper Post is the first dropper post to use a self-bleeding cartridge. It has the shortest stack height of any dropper post on the market, has a short insertion depth, is one of the lightest dropper posts, and is completely serviceable at home via the Wolf Tooth Right to Repair program.

    SELF-BLEEDING RESOLVE CARTRIDGE
    At the heart of Resolve Dropper Post is a self-bleeding cartridge that removes air from the fluid chamber with every actuation. All dropper posts can get air in the chamber, which leads to sag and squish. Resolve Dropper Post is the only dropper post that purges air from the chamber, which means you’ll never need to buy a new cartridge as you do with all other dropper posts.

    SHORTEST STACK HEIGHT
    The shortest stack height of any dropper post means that Resolve can get your saddle lower than any other dropper post. The lower your saddle, the more room you have to maneuver your bike on drops and techy descents.

    WEIGHT AND WEIGHT PER TRAVEL IS EQUAL TO THE BEST
    Resolve Dropper Post is one of the most lightweight dropper posts on the market when it comes to grams per millimeter of travel. It’s as much as 26% lighter than other dropper posts of the same travel and size.

    SHORT INSERTION LENGTH
    When a dropper post has a short insertion length, longer travel options are unlocked for more bikes. A short insertion length is vital for smaller bikes, frames with curved seat tubes, and frames with seat tubes that have bottle bosses.

    TRAVEL REDUCTION WITH SPACERS
    The travel of a Resolve dropper post can be reduced in 5 mm increments by adding spacers inside the cartridge assembly. This feature allows maximizing the amount of drop on any given bike frame / rider combination. Note that installation of travel adjustment spacers requires opening the pressurized hydraulic cartridge and should always be performed by a qualified bicycle technician after releasing all air pressure. This is not recommended as a home mechanic project unless you are already experienced with servicing pressurized bicycle hydraulic components such as suspension forks.

    Each of the 88 pieces of Resolve Dropper Post can be purchased individually. If something breaks in a crash, save money by replacing just the affected part instead of an entire assembly.
